Hi Baby Girl,
Mummy is very late lighting this candle for you! We had a hectic weekend as it is Faye's birthday tomorrow and last weekend was our weekend to have her instead of this one, so Nanny Di came to stay too.
We gave Faye money for her birthday this year and we took her shopping to choose her own clothes to spend it on which she really enjoyed. She wanted some Converse High Top sneakers in bright red and she was ever so chuffed when she found some! She bought some tops too with what she had left.
She baked her own birthday cakes which were One Direction cupcakes, and on Sunday we went to the car boot with her and Nanny. It was a very full weekend and she really enjoyed it!
Mummy has been giving lots and lots of thought to what we should do on your birthday this year, but I am struggling to think of the perfect plan! I will think of something though and I'm sure you will love it whatever it is.
Daddy has gone fishing this morning for his last week on the Tyne, he won't be back until probably next Saturday morning now, after he has fished up to the last day of the season on 31st October.
That will be his last trip away now before your baby sister is born, although he'll probably have the odd night or two away shooting.
We had a growth scan on Wednesday and she's growing really well, I was expecting her to be around 3.8lbs which is average for her gestation, but she is just over 4.2lbs!! Mummy is so happy that she's growing so well and thriving though, it's very reassuring. Our Consultant checked the cord blood flow and also the water volume etc and was happy. Her little legs have caught up a bit more too and she's more in proportion now!
It's just six weeks now till we're due to be induced, I can't believe she'll be here so soon.
Mummy has a lot still to do before then so I'd best get on with something!
I'll be lighting another candle for you tomorrow anyway so I will say goodnight for now sweetheart, Mummy loves you very very much and I still think of you every single day, even when my attention is so focused on your baby sister to make sure she's safe.
