I couldn't light a candle for you on Friday because we had a powerful, but it was lovely and romantic for Valentine's Day! Mummy cooked mussels by candlelight for Daddy because he loves my moules mariniere!
I have been doing a bit of wedding planning this weekend, and I rode Kal yesterday in the outdoor school in a brief respite from the rain! I'm going to take him out for a hack today because Nanny and Grandad have brought the sunshine back from Florida this morning :)
I think Daddy is going shooting in Scotland again tomorrow. He was supposed to be pigeon shooting yesterday but he went and sorted an extra marquee for the wedding instead! We know somebody that owns a big one so we're borrowing that for the band and dance floor, and we're going to have a bigger one for the guests for table and chairs, and a smaller one for the hog roast and bar. That's the plan at the moment anyway! We're going to put them in a U shape in the garden to create a courtyard for more tables and chairs if it's a nice day.
We're keeping our fingers crossed for glorious sunshine!
The only thing that won't be perfect is the fact that you won't be there, although I know you will be in spirit, and you'll be present on the day in all the yellows and pretty summer flowers around!
