Happy 11th Birthday Baby Girl. Wow, you would have been going to high school this year! How time flies.
I've no doubt if you were here you would be a sulky pre-teen already and driving me mad with a messy bedroom and borrowing my things, but as you are not, you are instead forever immortalised in perfection.
I've done a lot of work this year on coming to accept what happened to you, and I've made a lot of progress. I just want you to know it doesn't mean I don't think of you as often or miss you as much. Yes I can now sleep without your ashes when I need to or go away without your bashful bunny in tow, but you mean no less to me, I'm just making progress and you are always in my heart no matter where I am or what I have with me. That said, of course you'll be coming to the Butterfly Journey at the zoo today with me and your little Sisters! Faye can't join us this year sadly, but please send her a little hug. I don't know what your Daddy will be doing today but I wish a kind day for him too.
I hope you are proud of me for what I've achieved in myself this last year sweetheart, I'm sure you are if you're watching over me. Just know that no matter how much I distance myself from your Daddy, I (and he) love you very very much and that will never go away. I know you would love that I'm back together again with my soulmate and that your little Sisters adore him so much, I so wish you could have met him too.
