Lit by Mummy, Daddy, Faye and Ruby xxxxx 4th January 2017
Happy 4th Birthday Baby Girl.
Mummy and Daddy wish so so much that we could have spent today with you, but we tried to have a nice day out for you at Blue Planet Aquarium with Ruby to mark the day and we know you will have been watching over us. We didn't go to Chester Zoo this time as Daddy thought it might be a nice idea to do something different this year, and it was in a way but I think I prefer Chester Zoo for your birthday. I don't get much time to really think about you and reflect when I'm running after Ruby and the Butterfly Journey gives me that closeness to you to be able to do that. I did have a sit down quietly in the aquatheatre while Daddy watched Ruby running around waiting for the show to start, but watching fish wasn't quite the same as watching butterflies as they have no significance to you. It was nice for a change though and we now know for next year that it has to be Chester Zoo! We had a nice day I guess, and Ruby really enjoyed it.
We hope you had a wonderful birthday in Heaven Baby Girl, we're sure they must have the best birthdays ever up there with all the toys, cake and fun you could wish for! We had cupcakes after our lunch and Ruby blew out four candles for you, but I bet your cake in Heaven was amazing! I wish I could have baked it for you. Whilst I was getting the cupcakes and candles out ready for us to sing Happy Birthday they started playing Kharma Chameleon in the restaurant, and I picked you up and held you and thought about all the times I have danced around the kitchen to that song whilst carrying you, looking forward to holding you as a baby and dancing to it, and also all the times I've danced to it whilst holding your ashes since you were born, and I had a cry. I could hear them playing it again later on too when we walked past, I saw it as a sign that you were with us.
I hope you liked your birthday cards and your present? Ruby opened them this morning for you after we sang Happy Birthday to you at 8:43am, the time that you were born. She had a little play with the game but I have put it away safely now and it's all yours until you give it to her on her birthday in December. She loved the toy horse and stable and the singing soft doll that you passed on to her for her 2nd Birthday and Christmas last month. I know if she could see you she would give you the biggest ever kiss and cuddle for them.
Faye couldn't be with us today unfortunately as she had to go to school, but I know without a doubt that she will have been thinking about you today Baby Girl and I know without a doubt that you will have been watching over her too. I hope she has been ok and not too upset, I know she misses you so much, we all do.
We are going to have an early night as we feel a bit drained after today, so I'll say goodnight now sweetheart and I'll see you in my dreams.
