Hello Baby Girl, your baby sister is a whole month old today, and I cannot believe where the month has gone! She is doing well and has now regained her birth weight and more, so we can just get on with enjoying her now. Mummy and Daddy went to register the birth yesterday, and we also tried to 're-register yours now that we are married (as a child of our marriage) but unfortunately you can only do that for living children and there is no provision to be able to do it for stillborn children. You were registered as a Dawson anyway though so it doesn't matter, it would just have meant you would have a new birth certificate with my name as Dawson on it that's all. Daddy is shooting pheasant tomorrow on a local shoot so Faye and I have the day to ourselves with Ruby, although I'm not sure what we are going to do yet. On Sunday we are all going to have a look at a dog as a gundog for Daddy, it's a black labrador and is 11 months old. If Daddy likes it we will have it on trial for a few days to test it out and check we will all get on and it will make a good gundog. Mummy is a little concerned about how it will be around Ruby so we will definitely need to have it on trial, although it does live with two small children, one of which it has lived with since the child was one and a half so it is used to toddlers, we just have to see how it behaves around a baby. Next week on Tuesday Daddy and I are going to go to a cottage at Anthorn on the Solway Estuary for a few days which will be nice, and then Mummy is taking Ruby to meet family up North for the weekend while Daddy's friend joins him to shoot on the estuary, and Daddy will pick us up on his way home on the Sunday. I'm looking forward to getting away for a little while and getting a change of scenery, I haven't been able to go out much as the weather has been terrible and I want to keep Ruby warm, so it'll be nice to get out. Faye is having a cuddle with Ruby at the moment, and then it's bedtime. Mummy is looking forward to an early night too as I'm shattered today, even though Ruby was a very good girl last night, she went down at 8:15pm and didn't cry until it was time for a feed at 11:15pm, even though I put her down awake, she just put herself to sleep bless her. Mummy was very proud of her! This week has been the first week of her new bedtime routine and she has been doing very well, although I'm not sure how it will go next week with all the change! I better go now and get them both in bed, but Mummy will cuddle you as usual when I go to bed, I get to cuddle Ruby all day and you all night, I'm a very lucky Mummy! I love you Baby Girl, so so much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
