Happy Christmas Baby Girl
Mummy and Daddy love you so so much and we wish you could have been with us today, but we know you were watching over us all.
Mummy gave birth to your new baby Sister on Tuesday 9th December at 1:59am, and we called her Ruby Wendi Dawson. We hope you will be happy that she is named after you! The Wendi comes from putting Nanna Wendy's and Nanny Di's names together, they were both very happy about that!
Ruby weighed 7lb 7oz when she was born, although she lost quite a bit of her birth weight and went down to just 6lb 8oz due to having jaundice and being too sleepy to feed properly in the first couple of days of her life, so she's only about 6lb 10oz now and so tiny!
She's starting to put the weight back on slowly now though so hopefully when we take her for weighing again on Monday she will be doing well.
Mummy will put a photo of Ruby on here for you soon, although of course you know what she looks like as you are watching over her all the time.
Thank you for keeping her safe through the labour and birth, she is really beautiful and Mummy and Daddy are so happy she is here safely, we love her so much and Faye adores her.
We will never love you any less though Baby Girl, we have just found more love from somewhere!
