Hi Baby Girl,
Mummy is at Nanna Wendy's this weekend while Daddy has gone fishing.
It's been lovely to catch up with Nanna Wendy tonight with a good chat. We are going for lunch tomorrow with Auntie Vicky, Auntie Kacy and Uncle Neil, I didn't know it had been arranged and I'm really looking forward to seeing them all.
Nanna Wendy said my tummy has grown a lot in two months, she can't believe how big I'm getting!
I'm going to see Lisa and baby Lydia at some point this weekend too which I'm so excited about! Hopefully I'll get to see my Auntie Bev too but she might be working.
I've also got to go to my Dad's to see my bridesmaid dress for their wedding in February, and check it's suitability for breastfeeding as your baby sister should be around 10 weeks by then and will probably be hungry a lot!
We had our 24 week growth scan on Wednesday (although we actually turn 24 weeks tomorrow), everything was fine thankfully. We were a little anxious as she didn't seem as active as usual however our consultant said her growth is looking absolutely fine and the blood flow through the cord was good, and her heartbeat was good, so we have to trust she is ok. Our consultant said she was now head down and that I probably just can't feel her as much now that she's changed position in my womb. She is moving more this last 24 hours though thankfully. She was still moving at all the times she usually would, it just didn't seem as much or as strong. She's moving a lot right now though!! That's because I've got in bed and stopped, you used to be exactly the same : )
Getting to 24 weeks tomorrow is such an important milestone for me, it means that no matter what happens your sister will have existed legally as her birth would be registerable like yours was, I shouldn't think that way I know, but getting that far matters. I think I'll relax a bit again after that.
Mummy is going to go to sleep now sweetheart as it's half past midnight and I've a busy day ahead tomorrow, and probably just as busy a day on Sunday too!
