Hi Baby Girl, Mummy and Daddy have been married for a whole week today! We are on honeymoon in Mauritius at the moment and we are having a lovely time, apart from the lady who is singing tonight who is killing all the songs she is singing! We had a couples massage and a facial tonight so we are feeling pampered. It's very nice here, very romantic and perfect for a honeymooning couple : ) The food is delicious, although I do have to be a little bit careful what I eat because Daddy and I are having another baby! I know you already know that, I just haven't been able to say anything about it on here until after the wedding as that's when we announced it to everybody. We are 15 weeks today and it's making a bid for freedom, my belly is huge already! I thought I might just look fat on our honeymoon and not pregnant, but I didn't need to worry about that! We are all very excited to be having another baby, and we have had two scans already, one at 8 weeks and one at 12 weeks, and both were very promising and baby looked as it should with a strong heartbeat. At our 12 week scan we could see it so clearly, even down to it's toes! I have been able to hear the heartbeat on my home Doppler since 9 weeks too, so I am able to reassure myself when I need to which is good. Everything is looking good for this one sweetheart. It was due on Boxing Day the same as you, but we got moved on by 6 days at the dating scan as it's so big, so now it is due 20th December, and we will be induced around 6th. Daddy is convinced this one is a boy, I don't know why but he has been convinced of that since the 8 week scan when it just looked like a bean! I know you will be watching over this little one for us sweetheart, just like you were watching over us on our wedding day. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day, thank you! I had one of the swallowtail butterflies that we released sat on my bouquet all day and night, I thought it had died when it was still there when I was going to bed, so I left it on my bouquet in the kitchen when I went to bed and intended to save it as a reminder, but in the morning it was gone! I asked everybody and nobody had moved it so it must have fluttered off. I couldn't believe it, especially as that meant it was alive afterall and just wanted to sit on my bouquet all day until I went to bed, it must have been you! I hope we did you proud on the day Baby Girl, I know I was very proud of your Daddy saying his vows and his speech was brilliant, he said you were helping him on the day, he felt it. We had an amazing day and everybody who came kept telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and they all loved the service which was so special, and the whole day afterwards which was so relaxed and fun! We are enjoying being newlyweds and love it when people in the hotel call us Mr and Mrs Dawson : ) I have your name now Baby Girl, yours and Daddy's and Faye's : ) We only have a few weeks after we get back from honeymoon to wait until we have our 20 week scan on 30th July, and we will find out then whether we are having a baby brother or sister for you and Faye! We're looking forward to that, we decided we need to know this time to prepare either way for what it is before the birth. Daddy and I are sat on our balcony now looking out to sea, and Daddy is chatting to Nanny Di on the phone about what a good day the wedding was and telling her about our honeymoon so far. I will tell you more about it when we're back next week sweetheart, but for now I just want you to know that Mummy and Daddy love you very very much, and we always will no matter how many more little brothers or sisters come along! You will always be our firstborn child together Baby Girl, and you will always be my firstborn full stop! Love you all the way from Mauritius xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
