Hi Baby Girl,
Daddy is out fishing tonight so Mummy is relaxing and having an early night, there's a film on in half an hour that's supposed to be really good so I'm going to watch that in bed.
I have a pounding headache tonight, I had my travel vaccine yesterday for our honeymoon and I think it might be a side effect from that.
We have booked to go to Dubai for 3 nights followed by 7 nights in Mauritius, I can't wait to have a lovely dovey relaxing sunny holiday with Daddy.
I can't believe we are only three weeks off the wedding now! I am so excited to become Daddy's wife and Faye's stepmum, we're going to become a proper family sweetheart, I wish you could be part of it more than just in spirit. I am going to have the same name as you though, I am really looking forward to being a Dawson.
Nanny is doing a reading for us during the ceremony which will be nice, and she said if she gets it wrong she can just play the spoons instead!!
We thought about asking Faye to do a short one too, but we think that might be a little too much for her on the day. Auntie Kacy is doing one too, she is reading out the love poem I wrote for your Daddy when we first started dating, it's still relevant today and I still mean every word :)
We're getting there with the preparations now, we still have a few bits to do but we'll be done soon and then we can hopefully just spend a little time looking forward to it instead of running around like headless chickens!
There are lots of people coming to the wedding, about 140-150 we think! We had no idea so many people would say yes, but we think maybe it's because of what we have been through and that people really want the opportunity to support us and see us happy, which is nice.
We have put lots of little touches in place to remember you on the day without mourning you, nice touches to make us smile.
One thing is for certain, there will be lots of people taking a minute to think of you that day, our missing little flowergirl, and there will be so much love around that day that everybody will remember it with warmth for years to come.
I know you will be shining down on us Baby Girl, just like you are at the moment.
