Hello Baby Girl,
Daddy and I have just had Tim the hog roast man come round to see the garden and discuss the marquees and hog roast and decorations etc. We are both shattered now as there was so much to discuss, and we're both starving hungry too as it's nearly 7pm now and it all sounded incredibly tasty!
It's going to be such a lovely day, Tim seemed to understand what we wanted perfectly and everything he owns in terms of decorations sound like they are going to create the right sort of theme, we're going for a real country vintage summer garden party theme, where everyone can just relax and enjoy themselves.
He's a very useful man to know, he is supplying pretty much everything from food to marquees, to a stage and dancefloor, to lighting!
Mummy just needs to make sense of everything I have written down now!
We are going to Faye's piano recital tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to watching her play. You'll be shining down on her won't you sweetheart.
I think we are going to try and get over to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham afterwards if there's time to order our wedding rings too. Mummy's needs to be specially shaped around my engagement ring as it's a star shape and a normal band won't sit next to it.
We might take Faye with us if she wants to come, we'll have to see what happens tomorrow and how the day goes.
I went to try and sort some wedding invitations this morning and have some proofs on order, and I'm going to see what I can rustle up myself too. I hate paying people to do what I can do myself!
Karen is going to very kindly make us some cupcakes for our 'wedding cake' so I have ordered some pretty ivory butterfly cutout cupcake wraps, and we are having a giant one made for our wedding cake to cut!
Daddy and I have just had a dance in the kitchen as he just came singing 'Penny Lover' to me as it was on the radio so I went to join him and he sang the whole song to me while we danced. Daddy used to sing that song to me in our very early days :)
Tea is ready now, goose stew and mash potato, yum yum, so I'd better go and eat.
