Tomorrow will be exactly one year since your funeral, when we had to say goodbye to your precious tiny little body and hold it together during a heartbreakingly beautiful service for you. I still remember every detail like it was yesterday, and it's still so raw when I think about that day and the moment that I had to walk away from you.
Tomorrow also marks the very last 'first anniversary' of anything to do with your life, yet despite this I feel positive sweetheart, the past is the past, my future is yet to come. Sadly you are no longer going to be a part of that future in body, but you will always be with us on our journey in spirit.
Your soul is entwined with mine, you will always be a part of me, never forget that Baby Girl.
When I laugh, I'm laughing for me and for you. When I look out at the world and marvel at something beautiful, you will see it through my eyes, and when your Daddy holds me, he'll be holding you too.
